Terra Landscapes is a local business, operated by a familiar Northland identity, Paul Jobin. Terra represents Paul's lifelong passion for nurturing and harvesting from the land.

Kia Ora, I am Paul Jobin, the frontman of Terra Landscapes.
I just knew I would return to Northland, after ten earlier years living in Kerikeri. Originally a city dweller, my first memorable experience of Northland was getting accustomed to the friendly locals waving from the side of rural roads and thinking "heck, should I know that person?".
Here I am three years in and the business is gathering momentum. Our scope has been expansive with cyclic garden maintenance, properties groomed, lawns installed, pavers laid, paths constructed, and garden beds planted.
When we meet, I may have riding shotgun my cheeky companion Rafa, the Brittany spaniel. I look forward to working with you and adding character and value to your property.

Hands dirty
I'll get in and get the job done. I work efficiently and am fussy on keeping things tidy while I work. I'll check in as we go, making sure you are happy.
Step 4
Quality check
At the end of the job I'll complete a quality check making sure you're satisfied. We can explore ongoing maintenance, if
needed.
Our Story
Paul has been very fortunate over the last 15 years to have worked at renowned luxury accommodation properties in New Zealand and Australia. Most recently, spending just under five years as the head gardener for a high-net worth family's grand residence in Coatesville, Auckland.
Former executive chef at Kauri Cliffs and SKYCITY, Auckland,. In his previous life Paul enjoyed a high-profile culinary journey spanning more than 30 years. From the likes of live culinary competitions, his own cookbook a pinch of salt, TV productions, his own restaurant Pure Tastes in Paihia and a stint as Sir Richard Branson's chef at Makepeace Island, Queensland,.
Around five years ago, Paul transitioned his passions from-table-to-garden, building up considerable experience across a range of garden projects at some of New Zealand's most high-profile residential properties. From building and maintaining large sprayfree vegetable gardens, to pruning programs, cutting in bush tracks, greater property spraying and maintenance, irrigation, hedge and fastidious edge trimming, turfcare and fertilisation programs.
Inspired by a Country Calendar episode, Paul attended a 2020 Yotam Kay's Permaculture Advanced Regenerative Course to further develop planting principles with vegetable plots and raised beds.
