Our motivation comes from seeing gardens flourish and from the knowledge that the care we put in makes a real difference for the people who enjoy them.
Our Story
Sam’s love of working with plants began decades ago, straight out of high school, when he first started working at plant nurseries in Kerikeri.
This passion led him to work with two highly respected landscaping businesses across Northland, where he honed his skills in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
Sam’s wife Aria, an experienced organic gardener, joins Sam as he takes the reins at Terra Landscapes, bringing their combined expertise and love of plants to every garden they care for.
“We are a bit obsessed with growing things and we realized that we couldn’t seem to stop getting our hands in the soil, designing planting schemes, nurturing plants. Terra Landscapes was a natural next step for us and we couldn’t be happier.”
Sam, extremely fit from 30+ years of cycling on New Zealand’s roads, brings energy and an unyielding work ethic to every garden he’s involved with. “I can’t help it – I just love watching spaces come to life under our care.”
